The Liberal Party of Canada is calling for the removal of MP Derek Sloan from the Conservative Party of Canada.
Under the Take Action heading on their website, the party is calling for new Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole to remove the Hastings Lennox and Addington member from caucus, and refuse to sign his nomination papers in the future.
The posting says the following
Conservative MP Derek Sloan has:
- Compared women’s rights to control their own bodies to ‘slavery’
- Supported the cruel and discredited practice of anti-gay conversion therapy
- Attacked the loyalties of Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer and accused her of working for China
Sloan ran for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada.
