The Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit has declared an outbreak at a long-term care facility.
Staff at the health unit are working with staff at the Campbellford Memorial Multicare Lodge after a resident tested positive for COVID-19.
The resident was symptomatic and is now isolated in hospital.
The Health Unit is continuing to work with staff from the facility and hospital to conduct case and contact tracing.
In Hastings Prince Edward, there are no new cases of the virus reported, leaving the number of active cases at five.
