A barn fire north of Stockdale has now caused over a million dollars in damage.
Fire Chief John Whalen says crews from Stations 5, 6 and 7 returned to 152 Suurdt Road this morning to douse hot spots and do overhaul along with high hoes.
Eighty dairy cattle were in the barn, with about 60 of them perishing.
Two silos were also on fire.
Fire Chief John Whalen says it was tragic.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to help investigate the cause which is still undetermined at this time.
