Some much-needed road work is finished on Shannon Road, which will allow drivers to get between Tyendinaga Township and Deseronto again.
A portion of the road was closed back in November, for a full revitalization of the Boldrick’s Bridge and while that construction isn’t complete just yet, the road has been deemed safe to open to traffic as of 4:00 this (Thursday) afternoon.
The Township is thanking residents and drivers for their patience and understanding during the closure and is recognizing Jewell Engineering, Quinte Conservation and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans for their support with the project.
