Prince Edward County staff are warning potential beach goers that Wellington Beach will likely hit its capacity quicker than usual, because of some dredging work that’s going on.
Parking has been reduced to allow for a staging and work area and a portion of the east side of the beach is closed off as well.
Visitors are reminded to stay out of the barricaded work areas and observe all signs that are in place.
When the beach hits its capacity, no more vehicles or walk-ins will be allowed to enter the area.
