Changes are coming to the way classes will be run this school year in the Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board’s secondary schools.
The main change in class scheduling will see students only participating in one subject at a time instead of two.
This type of schedule is known as an “octomester. Under that scheme a secondary student will take just one subject over a 22 day period.
