There are two more cases of COVID-19 locally.
The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit confirmed today the 47th and 48th cases are both related to travel.
Communications Coordinator Karen LaRose confirmed to Quinte News that both cases are residents of Prince Edward County who traveled outside of the province.
They are now self-isolating at home and being monitored by the Health Unit’s case management team.
There have been three lab confirmed cases in the two counties in two days.
There is still a fourth active case in the region as well.
In Northumberland County, there is one new case of the virus bringing that total case load to 31 with 30 of those resolved.
