Police made a traffic stop on Saturday around 11 p.m. after noticing a vehicle on the westbound 401 in Tyendinaga Township travelling excessively fast.
As a result of their investigation, officers seized over five kilograms of illegal marijuana products, over $1,400 in cash and a point-of-sale machine.
Trong Luong Do of Markham is facing charges of possession of over 30g of dried cannabis in a public place, possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling, possession for the purpose of distributing, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, drive vehicle with cannabis readily available, drive vehicle with cannabis in open baggage and speeding.
The 35-year-old will appear in Greater Napanee court in November.
