Two major housing developments proposed for Wellington will be up for comment at a meeting of Prince Edward County council on Wednesday night.
County council will first see an application for a draft plan of a subdivision consisting of 136 single-family homes and 40 semi-detached homes off Main Street in Wellington.
The development would be just east of Belleville Street.
Secondly, council will deal with zoning and official plan amendments along with a draft plan of subdivision for a huge development along Consecon Street in Wellington consisting of close to 700 residential units.
Housing would be single family, link homes, townhouses, and mid-rise apartments or condominiums.
Prince Edward County council will meet Wednesday at 7 o’clock at the Regent Theatre and the meeting will be livestreamed.
