The mayor of Prince Edward County and a couple of councillors will be busy with this week’s virtual conference of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO).
Mayor Steve Ferguson and councillors Phil St-Jean and John Hirsch will have online meetings with several provincial cabinet ministers.
The county delegation will focus on tourism and Sandbanks Provincial Park, roadwork, especially on Highway 49 and at the Picton town hill intersection, COVID-19 economic recovery, and improvements to the Glenora Ferry Service.
