Following a severe collision on Thursday morning, Frontenac OPP are reporting two lanes of the eastbound 401 are expected to be open this weekend.
The highway was closed near Odessa after a transport truck struck a guard rail and went into the south ditch, leaking fuel and liquid tar into the wetland area.
The clean-up will continue next week during the overnight hours with lane restrictions at that time.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
