There will be public information sessions for three high-profile planning applications in Prince Edward County.
The municipality will be holding the meetings at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) to provide information on the Irth Landscape Hotel Spa (Monday, August 17: 6-7 p.m. and 7:30-8:30 p.m.), Quinte’s Isle Campark expansion (Wednesday, August 19: 6-7 p.m. and 7:30-8:30 p.m.) and Picton Terminals rezoning request (Tuesday, August 25: 6-7 p.m. and 7:30-8:30 p.m.).
Display boards will be set up and there will be no formal presentations taking place.
The public will have a chance to review the applications and the supporting material before offering feedback to municipal staff on the development proposals.
After receiving feedback at the meetings, staff will consider that input when evaluating the applications and drafting a report with recommendations for Council’s consideration.
The meetings will not be live-streamed, however, the information boards will be posted on Have Your Say, the County’s online engagement website. The public can submit their comments and feedback in writing through that website.
You must register to attend a specific session. Email pthompson@pecounty.on.ca to sign up. For more information on these applications or to submit your feedback in writing, please visit Have Your Say.
Physical distancing protocols will be in place at the meetings. Registered attendees will have to enter the arena from the back of the building near Macsteven Drive.
