Search and Rescue Technicians from 424 Squadron were called into action on the weekend.
A Griffon helicopter from 8 Wing Trenton were called to help East Region OPP evacuate a critically injured hiker from near Bruce Lake in Algonquin Park on Sunday morning.
The hiker was taken to hospital in Ottawa.
Also involved in the search and rescue were the OPP, Renfrew paramedics, Ornge air ambulance, and Ontario Parks personnel.
