Belleville police are looking for information after a driver ran away from the scene after hitting a hydro pole with a black BMW car
late last night.
The collision occurred shortly after 10 o’clock around Charles Street. Police say the driver removed the licence plates and ran off in the direction of Pine Street.
Call police with any information on the incident.
Meanwhile, city police continue to warn people against falling for rental scams. People responding to some apartment rental ads on Kijiji have been getting scammed when they agree to send money for small deposits to rent an apartment only to find the apartment doesn’t exist.
