Two people are facing charges after Quinte West OPP say they had an interaction with a man who was breaching court-ordered conditions.
Officers approached the man and woman on the Trent River Bridge, on Dundas Street West, around 1:30 this morning.
They say the man ran from them at first but was eventually caught and taken into custody.
Thirty-three-year-old Matthew Cole of Quinte West is charged with obstructing and resisting a peace officer, breaching a release order and personation with intent to avoid arrest.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Robin Ewins-Kitchen was charged with breaching an undertaking, obstructing a peace officer and having open liquor.
Cole was held for a bail hearing while Ewins-Kitchen was released with a September court date.
