The boat launch at Wellington Beach will reopen for all watercraft as of Saturday, July 25.
Boaters must have a season launch pass to use the Wellington Beach launch. Truck and trailer parking at the Wellington Beach boat launch is extremely limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Season launch passes cost $85 ($96.05 +HST) and can be purchased by visiting Shire Hall between 8:30 am and 3 pm, Monday–Friday or the Picton Marina (1 Head Street). For information about purchasing online, call 613.476.2148 extension 0.
All boaters (single use and season pass holders) can also use the Belleville Street boat launch. As a traffic control measure, boaters must go to the staging area at the Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street) on Saturdays, Sundays, and statutory holidays before being called down to the Belleville Street launch.
Boaters looking to get on the water on West Lake can also launch at the municipally owned Mabel Kleinsteuber Launch (1260 County Road 12) or the privately owned Ray’s Cottages (27 McKnight Lane, Wellington).
