The Belleville Public Library is set to reopen to the public early next month.
The library will reopen on Monday, August 10, with limited access to computers and printing, but you will be allowed to browse and check out books and other items.
However, all programming will continue to be offered online only and the John M. Parrott Art Gallery will remain closed for now.
Library CEO Trevor Pross says there will be strict limits on the number of people allowed in the building at one time and face coverings will be mandatory for anyone going inside.
He says there will also be a one-hour cap per day on computer use and lounge furniture, children’s play areas, iPads and study space won’t be available at first.
Until further notice the library will open Monday to Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
