Warrant Arrests
On July 22, 2020 at 1p.m., a Belleville officer on patrol in the northwest corner of the city observed a male who was currently wanted on a probation breach. Twenty-five-year-old Adam Desbarres was arrested and is being held for a bail hearing.
On July 23, 2020 at 1a.m., another Belleville officer on patrol in the northwest corner of the city observed another male who was also wanted on a probation breach. Twenty-three-year-old Bradley Hamilton-Proud was arrested and released with a September 3 court date.
Threats and Breaches
On July 22, 2020 at 9:30 p.m., Belleville Police responded to an east end housing complex regarding a male who was threatening an occupant and acting strangely in the parking lot. As a result of the investigation a 33-year-old Belleville resident was arrested and charged with uttering threats, three counts of breach of probation and two counts of breaching a court order. The male was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Vehicle Collision
On July 22, 2020 at 2:15 p.m., Belleville Police attended a three-vehicle collision on North Front Street. No serious injuries were reported and the investigation is continuing.
