An OPP officer in the Cornwall area has been charged with breach of trust after a four-month investigation.
Provincial Constable Scott Joseph, who has been with the police force for three years, was charged as part of Project Tadely, which began in March amid allegations of misconduct against a member of the OPP.
Investigators didn’t release any other information on what led to the charges but say Joseph has been suspended with pay from his job with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Detachment, in accordance with the Police Services Act.
He was released from custody and will be in court in September.
