Prince Edward County OPP have charged a Quinte West man after a dispute on the weekend.
Police say on Saturday just before 6 p.m. officers were called to Stinson Block Road in Consecon.
A 36-year-old was arrested and taken into custody.
While in custody the man caused damage to the cell area.
He is facing charges of assault (three counts), sexual assault (two counts), assault with a weapon, failure to comply with a probation order and mischief.
He was held in custody pending a court appearance in Belleville.
Officers also arrested a Belleville man early Saturday morning after he caused some damage to a business.
Police were called to the business on Loyalist Parkway in Hallowell where the 38-year-old had reportedly caused damage to the front door and other property.
The man was arrested and remanded into custody pending a court appearance in Belleville.
