The Trenton branch of the Quinte West Public Library will reopen to the public for the majority of its regular services starting July 20.
The Frankford Branch will reopen on Monday, July 27.
The hours of operation will be:

Monday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Wednesday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Thursday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Quinte West Public Library CEO Suzanne Humphreys says they are excited that the public will be able to browse the collections, access the internet and explore all the library has to offer.
Physical distancing and limited capacity measures will be in place to protect the public and staff.
Additional safety measures will include mask-wearing and frequent cleaning of high traffic surfaces.
Library material will continue to be quarantined for the recommended 72 hours.
If residents are unable to visit the library in person, staff will ensure that they can still access library material either by pick-up or delivery.
Library cards are available for residents.
Those wishing to get one can apply online or contact the library. Cardholders can access online resources through www.library.quintewest.ca.
