The Belleville Public Library and Parrott Gallery staff are working hard to open the facility as the province shifts to Phase 3 reopening.
A date for an opening to the public has yet to be set.
Chair of the Library Board Councillor Paul Carr says they are asking for some patience as they continue to proceed with further stages of their opening as the safety of staff and patrons is the top priority.
In the meantime, the Library is offering pickup service for physical materials like books and movies. Customers have been picking up an average of 300 items a day.
People can request items to borrow through our website or by calling 613-968-6731 ext. 2035, or by emailing infoserv@bellevillelibrary.ca
The library is open to pick up items from Monday to Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
There are also extensive digital programming options, training courses, movies, eBooks, audiobooks, and more that can be accessed using a computer or mobile device. The Parrott Gallery also has amazing digital art exhibitions posted at www.bellevillelibrary.ca
