While active COVID-19 case numbers continue to stay at zero in Hastings-Prince Edward, there has been one new confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in Northumberland County.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit reported a new case on Wednesday, bringing the total number of active cases in Northumberland to three.
There have been a total of 25 cases confirmed in that area since the outbreak began.
Hastings-Prince Edward hasn’t had a positive case since May 18 and all 43 cases that had been confirmed are considered to be “medically resolved”.
