Stirling Rawdon council will present a proposed budget to the public next week.
The draft budget, available on the municipal website, totals about $9.7 million of which just over $5 million will come from local taxpayers.
The budget proposes a 3.28% tax rate increase, or about $20 a month on a house assessed at $243,000.
Road and bridge projects, ($3.1 million) along with policing ($1.7 million), are by far the largest expenditures in the budget.
The budget meeting will be held Monday, July 20 at 6 o’clock at the Stirling Rawdon municipal office.
