The Ancestral Circle of Stones, planned for a Quinte West park, will be officially opened this fall.
Local historian Alex McNaught tells Quinte News 25 people have bought the first session of stones, to be installed in the Old Sidney Town Hall park in Wallbridge.
McNaught says the idea is to pay tribute to family members and others.
Sale of the stones for the September “circle opening” ended June 30, but will reopen again next year.
You can hear more on the “circle of stones” project and the history of Wallbridge when McNaught appears on Newsmaker Sunday with host Mary Thomas, this Sunday at the noon hour, on 800 CJBQ.
