The Belleville Police responded to 90 calls for service between 5 a.m. on July 9, 2020 and 5 a.m. July 10, 2020.
Trespassing.
On July 9, 2020 at 5:52 a.m., officers received a call from an address on Bridge St. West in regards to a male sleeping on the front porch of a residence. The male was described as wearing no shirt and having tattoos. Officers arrived on scene but the male was gone. Police checked the area with negative results.
Trespassing.
On July 9, 2020 at 7:14 a.m., police received a call from an address on Victoria Avenue in regards to a male sleeping in the lobby. Officers arrived and located the male. There were no wants for the male and he was cautioned for trespassing.
Insecure Load.
On July 9, 2020 at 7:40 a.m., police attended on Dundas St. East near Foster Avenue in regards to a 20 foot boat falling off a trailer. The boat was removed from the roadway. The driver of the vehicle was charged with having an insecure load under the Highway Traffic Act.
