This would have been Waterfront and Multicultural Festival weekend in Belleville but as it has for most every other part of life the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the popular festival at West Zwick’s Park.
However, Belleville’s Chamber of Commerce didn’t give up on showcasing the great food from various countries that is the highlight of Waterfront for many people.
Eleven different restaurants are taking part in Curbside Culture and offering $10 menu items for take-out. Most of the restaurants will be located at the Belleville Fairgrounds, the Downtown District, and four locations in other parts of the city.
Enjoy food from the Caribbean, French Canada, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, the Maritimes, Mexico, Tibet, China, and Thailand.
Passports can be picked up the fairgrounds or at the other locations and can be printed out online.
Curbside Culture runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
