Bancroft OPP have charged a 42-year-old resident with manslaughter in relation to an assault we first told you about in March.
Police have charged Timothy Gunter in relation to the March 8 incident in addition to the original charges of assault causing bodily harm and breach of probation.
Police and Hastings-Quinte paramedics were called to a home on Faraday Street around 9 p.m. where a 69-year-old man was found injured.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Gunter remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Belleville court on July 23.
