Unwanted Person
On July 2, 2020 at 8:30 p.m., police attended at an address on Bridge St. W. in regards to an unwanted person. Upon arrival police located a 32-year-old Belleville female still on the premises. Officers asked the woman to leave a number of times but she refused. She was arrested for failing to leave premises when directed. She was issued a ticket for trespassing and released.
Intoxicated Person
On July 2, 2020 at 10:37 a.m., a police officer was southbound on Pinnacle St. approaching Station St. on a green light. A male walking eastbound from Front St. onto Station St. went through a red light and was almost struck by the cruiser. The officer attempted to have a conversation with the 44-year-old Belleville male. The male became very abusive. The officer determined that the male was actually intoxicated and was arrested and transported to the station. The male was issued tickets for being intoxicated in a public place and going through a red light and released.
