The month of June was a little warmer and a lot drier than usual in the Quinte region.
Only 31.4 millimetres of rain fell last month which is less than half the normal 78 mm for the month.
Meanwhile, the average high temperature in June was 25 degrees celsius while the normal average high over the years has been 24 degrees.
The average low last month of just over 12 degrees was close to the historical average.
