Quinte West City Hall will reopen to the public, July 6, 2020. There will be new safety measures in place for the protection of staff and visitors. All visitors to City Hall are required to wear a non-surgical mask.
A greeter will ensure that a limited number of people will be admitted into the building at one time to maintain safe physical distances.
The city urges people to continue doing business online or over the phone whenever possible. Many services will only be available on an appointment basis.
If you are unsure whether a service will be available, please call ahead. If you are feeling ill, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay home.
The following services will be available for drop-in:

To see a Commissioner of Affidavits

Water account sign-up and bill payment

Dog licence renewal

Burn permit purchases

Tax bill payment

Purchase of bag tags, large and bulky tags

Submission of Access Permits

Wide load permits
-
Submission of building permits and planning application packages

Submission of legal or supporting documents
Other services such as marriage licences, death certificates and burial permits will be available by appointment only.
The public washrooms will be open for visitors.
They will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.
The Quinte West Public Library at City Hall will be open for drop-in computer use, wifi access, printing and copying services. Curbside pickup of library material will continue outside the building. More information on their services can be found at www.library.quintewest.ca.
“Things at City Hall are going to look a little different than they used to,” Says Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison. “We’re asking that visitors respect all of the new procedures we’ve put in place. We’re committed to providing the best possible customer service while maintaining the safety of everyone involved.”
