There is good news for frequent visitors to local farmers markets.
The Quinte West farmers market will reopen on Saturday, July 4 with new practices and procedures for vendors and visitors.
There will be a designated entrance and exit with one-way foot traffic through the market. Staff will also limit the number of people in the market at one time. It is recommended customers should not touch the products and ideally, only one person per household should visit at a time.
The market will operate on Saturdays only from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the end of October.
