Quinte West council will decide whether to not join many other communities and speed up the process to allow new and expanded restaurant/bar patios in the city at its virtual meeting tonight.
Under the provincial regulations outlined in Phase 2 of the COVID-19 economic reopening, many of the usual regulations governing licensing for new and expanded patios have been done away with.
Meanwhile, council will hear a delegation from a resident who’ll be commenting on how the ongoing development of the Carrying Place Industrial Park is affecting the abutting natural area known as Hanna Park.
Council meets at 6:30 and you can link to the meeting here.
