Quinte West OPP have identified the driver of a fatal collision on Hamilton Road on Friday evening.
Police say 61-year-old John Wallace of Trenton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after 7 p.m., Quinte West firefighters, police and paramedics responded to a head on collision between Whites Road and Vandervoort Road.
The second driver was taken to Kingston General Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The road was closed for approximately eight hours and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
