Quinte West OPP are asking some residents to be on the lookout for a black bear.
Multiple reports came in this morning about a black bear wandering around the area of Sidney Street and North Murray Street, so police say anyone in that area should keep an eye out and contact them at 1-888-310-1212 if they see the animal.
The Ministry of Natural Resources was also contacted and will check the area that the bear was last spotted.
