The month of May saw the construction business spring back into action in Centre Hastings.
In what was Centre Hastings’ busiest month so far in the building department, 23 building permits were issued for a construction value of
a little over $2.6 million.
Plans for seven new houses, including one worth over half a million dollars, made up the lion’s share of the total.
To the end of May, permits worth almost $3.6 million have been issued in Centre Hastings, up $1.2 million from the same period last year.
