If you’re a customer of Bell or Telus in Centre or North Hastings County you likely had problems with your phone service overnight.
Early last night (Monday) a fibre optic cable was cut near Crookston Road in Centre Hastings and that affected landline and cell phone service from there all the way up to north of the Town of Bancroft.
OPP stations remained open throughout the night for people to report emergencies.
Normal service was restored around 4 o’clock this morning.
