Abbott Girduckis left the Wellington Dukes at the end of the 2014-15 season, and he has been very busy since then.
The Quinte Red Devil grad spent four years at the Rochester Institute of Technology, captaining during his final year. He then moved on to pro hockey, playing for the Toldedo Walleye of the ECHL.
Girduckis also had an opportunity to play nine games for the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters last season.
Now Girduckis is on the move.
He has been traded from Toledo to the Jacksonville Icemen, which is a farm team for the Winnipeg Jets, and the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.
Girduckis was the Junior C Rookie of the Year with the Picton Pirates, and played three years with the Dukes.
