Despite the ongoing pandemic 2020 has been a record year for spring enrolment at Loyalist College.
The College is reporting a record high of 732 full time students between its Belleville, Bancroft and Toronto campuses this spring, which is up 76% from spring of 2019 and up almost 40% from the previous spring enrolment high in 2018.
The Personal Support Worker program out of Bancroft makes up for most of that jump, with a 53% registration jump in that program alone.
Other contributing programs include advertising and marketing, business, computer systems, project management and supply chain management.
The high spring enrolment is also in line with strong September enrolment in 2019, which was up 7% from the previous year.
The College says international students make up 38% of its population.
