We’re inching closer to one month without a new confirmed case of COVID-19 in Hastings-Prince Edward.
The last confirmed case was reported on May 18 and there were no new confirmed or probable cases announced over the weekend.
The total number of active confirmed cases in our area is still five, with the number of active probable cases sitting at four.
Close to 7,000 test swabs have been completed here as well, either by paramedics, health unit staff, or at one of the COVID-19 assessment centres in Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County and North Hastings.
