A Toronto man was charged with assault after a disturbance at a restaurant in the southwest part of Belleville last night (Sunday).
Police responded around 8 o’clock to find a fight just breaking up.
A 37-year-old man was charged and one person suffered superficial injuries.
Meanwhile at 2 o’clock this morning (Monday) Belleville police stopped a vehicle on Bridge Street West after spotting a driver they knew to be prohibited from driving.
Travis Toddhunter, 39 of Picton, faces several charges, including driving while having liquor readily available.
