The Quinte Economic Development Commission has set its budget for this year.
The budget shows a 2% increase to the participating members, Belleville, Quinte West and Brighton.
The cities of Belleville and Quinte West pay the lion’s share of the $434,000 local levy.
The Quinte Economic Development Commission also receives revenue from senior government and private sources bringing its total budget to almost $2.2 million.
Meanwhile, Brad Little will remain as Chair of the QEDC’s Board of Directors with Ryan Williams as Vice-Chair.
