Northumberland OPP and specialty units arrested three people on George Street in Brighton yesterday when they executed a search warrant.
Police seized cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl and a spring loaded knife along with other drug trafficking items.
45-year-old Nicole Swan of Brighton and 58-year-old William Goheen of Quinte West have been charged with:
– Possession of a Schedule I substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
– Possession of a Schedule I substance – Cocaine
– Possession of a Schedule I substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid
– Failure to comply with undertaking
48-year-old Paul Helm, also of Brighton, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine
– Possession of Prohibited Device or Ammunition for Dangerous Purpose
– Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
All three have been released and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on August 19.
