A local artist has used her talents to help support the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Pamela Carter, owner of Pamela Carter Studio in Wellington held a fundraiser from May 4 to June 7 and PECMHF received 25% of the proceeds of her sold art.
In end the, 23 paintings were sold and $1,793.75 was donated to the Foundation’s area of greatest need.
Carter says she is proud to support the doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals and frontline staff who continue to provide a high level of care needed during these extraordinary times and we are all doing our part wherever possible to help out.
Shannon Coull, executive director of the PECMH Foundation said they are blessed to live in this generous community which ensures residents have a vibrant hospital armed with the best medical equipment possible.
