So far this year there’s been no slowdown when it comes to new construction in the Municipality of Brighton.
According to Brighton’s building department permits were issued for 48 construction projects to the end of May valued at close to $11 million.
For the same period last year 44 building permits had been issued valued at just under $9 million.
Last month permits worth $3.6 million were issued in Brighton with most of that total being made up of residential construction, including six new houses and two new semi-detached homes.
