Quinte West’s Trent Port Marina continues to be one of the best in the country when it comes to environmental stewardship.
The marina was once again awarded Blue Flag designation for 2020 from nonprofit Swim Drink Fish, on behalf of Blue Flag International and the Foundation for Environmental Education.
A City of Quitne West press release today says the flag represents an international gold standard for water quality, environmental management and education, safety and amenities.
The Trent Port Marina is one of just nine marinas across the country to get the award this year and has earned the Blue Flag designation each year, since 2018.
