Two men were charged after attempting to steal flowers at a Belleville business last night (Monday).
City police were called to the North Front Street business after reports of two men jumping a fence at around 10 o’clock.
Police caught two Belleville men in their 30s inside a compound.
Nothing was stolen and the pair were handed tickets for trespassing.
Meanwhile just after 11 o’clock, city police observed a speeding vehicle in Belleville’s east end. It was seen running a stop sign and a red light and was eventually stopped pulling into a Pine Street residence.
