Charges have been laid against the driver of a transport truck involved in a fatal hit-and-run with a pedestrian, in North Frontenac, earlier this year.
A 64-year-old man was killed when he was hit by the truck, while walking along the side of Highway 7, on January 10, 2020.
The suspect vehicle left the scene.
OPP have charged 57-year-old Mahaveer Jain of Brampton with one count each of manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous driving causing death and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
Jain was released with conditions and has a future court date in Kingston to answer to the charges.
