It was a busy weekend for Northumberland OPP officers conducting traffic patrols on Highway 401.
Six different eastbound drivers, who range in age between 18 and 66, were caught going between 157 km/h and 175 km/h at various times between Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Police say all of those drivers are residents of “urban areas west of Port Hope” and have been handed seven day licence suspensions, with their vehicles being impounded for a week.
They all have court dates in Cobourg on July 22.
