Ontario Premier Doug Ford has announced more information about Phase 2 of the province’s reopening plan, which will be allowed to go ahead in a selection of public health areas, including Hastings-Prince Edward.
As of 12:01 a.m. on Friday, public gathering limits will increase from five to 10 people, places of worship will be able to open with physical distancing measures in place at 30% capacity and restaurants will be able to offer outdoor dine-in services.
Weddings and funerals will also be permitted with a limit of 10 people.
Hair salons, barber shops and similar businesses will be able to reopen, with proper health measures in place, with tour and guide services, including tastings for wineries, breweries and distilleries also being allowed.
